Driving Hope of Texas provides safe, timely, comfortable, and affordable transportation to cancer patients* (and their caregiver) in making a round trip from select Texas counties to treatment centers within the state.
We are an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
(*We also serve patients with other noninfectious conditions. All patients must be ambulatory—that is, they must be able to step into the van.)
Driving Hope is not a provider of medical services, nor a counseling service—it is essentially a taxi service. However, Driving Hope is set apart from other non-emergency transportation options by the difference it will make for their clients, manifested by the environment of care, comfort, and hope that will make the trip as bearable as possible.
Our primary service area is Bell County, Texas but includes Brown, Comanche, Mills, Hamilton, Coryell, and Milam counties. Driving Hope of Texas seeks to expand routes into other underserved counties as soon as funds become available.
